Dumpster Rental Services in Las Vegas
Much of Las Vegas went up during the 1990s and 2000s building boom, so a big share of our work is first-round kitchen and bath remodels, popcorn-ceiling scrapes and carpet-to-LVP flooring swaps in Centennial Hills and Desert Shores. Closer to downtown, older block homes around Rancho Circle and the Arts District throw off heavier debris like stucco, plaster and clay roof tile, which hits the weight limit long before the container looks full.

Dumpster Sizes Available in Las Vegas
The 20-yard is our most-rented size in Las Vegas. It fits a standard two-car driveway and swallows a full kitchen tear-out or a packed garage. Every roll-off dumpster size below is measured in cubic yards of debris capacity, and each includes a set weight allowance.

10-Yard Dumpster
About 12 ft long, 8 ft wide and 3.5 ft high; holds roughly three to four pickup-truck loads.
The pick for dense debris: concrete, brick, dirt, tile or plaster. Weight fills it before volume does.
15-Yard Dumpster
About 16 ft long, 8 ft wide and 4 ft high; holds roughly five to six pickup-truck loads.
A middle-size container for kitchen remodels and garage purges around the Arts District.
20-Yard Dumpster
About 22 ft long, 8 ft wide and 4.5 ft high; holds roughly six to eight pickup-truck loads.
The most-rented roll-off dumpster size across Las Vegas Valley. It holds a full kitchen, a two-car garage cleanout, or roofing tear-off on most single-story homes.
30-Yard Dumpster
About 22 ft long, 8 ft wide and 6 ft high; holds roughly nine to twelve pickup-truck loads.
Builders and remodelers in Las Vegas use the 30 for framing waste, siding replacement and multi-room demolition.
40-Yard Dumpster
About 22 ft long, 8 ft wide and 8 ft high; holds roughly twelve to sixteen pickup-truck loads.
Maximum debris capacity for light, bulky waste. Needs a long, straight approach for delivery.
Which size fits common Las Vegas projects
| Project | Size | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Single-story roof tear-off | 15-yard | One layer of shingles on a typical single-story home is heavy, so we size by squares, not volume. |
| Farmhouse remodel | 15-yard | A room-by-room remodel in an older farmhouse fits a 15, with room for plaster and old flooring. |
| Fence replacement | 20-yard | Wood rails, posts and wire from a few hundred feet of fence fit a 20. Set concrete footings aside for a smaller box. |
| Mobile home clear-out | 30-yard | Furniture, carpet, cabinets and years of storage from a single-wide or double-wide need the space of a 30. |
| Barn or shed cleanout | 30-yard | Old lumber, broken equipment parts and stored junk from an outbuilding take up volume fast. |
Dumpster Rental Prices in Las Vegas
Dumpster rental cost comes down to three things: the size you need, how heavy your debris is and how many days you want it. We price all three up front on the phone.
| Size | Typical price | Included tonnage | Rental period |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10-yard | $325–$425 | 1 ton | 7 days |
| 15-yard | $365–$475 | 1.5 tons | 7 days |
| 20-yard | $395–$525 | 2 tons | 7 days |
| 30-yard | $475–$625 | 3 tons | 7 days |
| 40-yard | $550–$725 | 4 tons | 7 days |
Las Vegas sits inside our core Las Vegas Valley service zone, so there's no distance surcharge on top of the base rate. Delivery fee and pickup fee are already built into the quote.
Additional weight is billed per ton at the rate on your quote. Extra days are billed per day. Overage charges only come from going over the included weight, adding days, or items that need special disposal like tires or mattresses.

15-yard, 1.5 tons included, typically $365–$475
A room-by-room remodel in an older farmhouse fits a 15, with room for plaster and old flooring.
Defensible-space clearing in the Arts District
20-yard, 2 tons included, typically $395–$525
Brush and limbs are light and bulky, so a 20 holds a lot of clearing without weight trouble.
Types of Waste You Can Put in a Dumpster
Construction Debris
Framing scrap, drywall, trim, doors, windows, flooring, shingles and clean concrete are all accepted. Break down long boards so they lie flat.
Household Junk
Almost everything from a household cleanout in Huntridge: old furniture, broken appliances, rugs, boxes, and the stuff that's lived in the garage for ten years.
Yard Waste
Branches, shrubs, leaves, grass clippings and landscaping debris are accepted. Palm fronds, oleander trimmings and old desert-landscape rock are the usual yard loads here. Decorative rock is extremely heavy, so put it in a 10-yard and never fill a 30 with it.
Prohibited items. What cannot go in: hazardous waste, chemicals, liquid paint, oil, batteries, tires, pressurized tanks, medical waste and asbestos. Dried latex paint cans are usually fine; wet paint is not.
How to keep your Las Vegas dumpster cost down
- Call for pickup promptly. When you're done, call right away so extra days don't add up.
- Keep heavy material separate. Concrete, brick, dirt and rock hit the weight limit fast. Put them in their own small container and use a larger one for bulky, light debris.
- Load flat and full. Lay large, flat items on the bottom and fill gaps with smaller debris. Air pockets cost money.
- Break things down. Take apart furniture, cut long boards and flatten boxes. A broken-down couch takes a third of the space.
- Keep water and snow out. A tarp keeps rain and snow from adding weight you pay for.
Most roll-off debris from Clark County goes to Apex Regional Landfill off I-15 northeast of Las Vegas. Disposal costs are built into your price up to the included tonnage, which is why weight matters more than volume.

How Dumpster Rental Works in Las Vegas
Choose Your Dumpster Size
Call (725) 325-5870 and tell us what you're throwing out. We'll recommend a size based on the project, not the biggest box on the lot.
Schedule Dumpster Delivery
Tell us your delivery window and placement. Dumpster drop-off is usually scheduled for the morning.
Fill the Dumpster
Load at your own pace, heaviest items first, and keep a tarp handy for Las Vegas's weather.
Schedule Dumpster Pickup
Call when it's full or you're done, and we'll haul it away.
Weather in Las Vegas
Summer afternoons routinely clear 105°F and roll-off steel gets too hot to touch by noon, so crews on long jobs load early and late. Monsoon storms between July and September can lift loose cardboard and insulation straight out of an open box, so tarp the load before you leave for the day.
Dumpster placement
Most Las Vegas homes have a concrete driveway that handles a 10- to 20-yard container without trouble, and we lay boards under the rails to protect the slab. Many master-planned neighborhoods in Centennial Hills have HOA rules about how long a container can sit in view of the street, so check your CC&Rs before booking a two-week rental.
Dumpster Permits and Placement Rules in Las Vegas
Street placement permits
If the container sits on your driveway or elsewhere on private property in Las Vegas, you usually don't need a permit. If it has to go on a street, sidewalk, alley or other public right-of-way, the approval comes from the City of Las Vegas Department of Public Works. Ask about the fee, how many days the permit covers, and whether reflective cones or barricades are required, and have the permit in hand before delivery day.
HOA and landlord rules
If you live in a planned community in Las Vegas, check for container rules before delivery. Short time limits are common, and we can schedule pickup to beat the deadline.
What the delivery spot needs
For delivery, the truck needs a straight approach of about 60 feet, roughly 10 to 12 feet of width, and clear overhead space with no low branches, wires or eaves above the drop spot. The container itself sits about 8 feet wide, so leave room to open the rear door. On rural lots, point out your septic tank, leach field and any buried water lines, and keep the container away from soft ground near ditches or after rain.
